Banking in Ireland

Hello, I'll be moving to Ireland this spring and plan to continue working with some us clients online. Right now they pay me online at a u.s. bank (chase) but it doesn't look like any u.s. banks have branches in Ireland. Do most expats open up an Irish bank account and keep the American bank account, doing digital transfers? Or is there a better way?
