My husband has a job - can I work?

Thank you in advance for any and all advice. My husband's company is going to transfer him to Cork. Near City Center. Me and my two daughters are going with him. We will barely be scraping by on his salary alone. Does anyone have any advice for how I may be able to work? WE ar moving from the US. I currently work as a teacher. Thank you.
