Smallholding move

Hi,

We are planning to move to Ireland in the short/medium term. We have a smallholding and need to find a place to keep pigs, sheep, chickens etc that also has reasonable access to schools etc as our children are still of school age.

So far we're considering Co Mayo, Cork region. Are there any other areas folk would recommend to us?
