hello! I apologize if this question has been asked. My grandfather was born in Ireland. My father was born in the US. My grandfather was still a citizen of Ireland at the time of my father's birth. Does this mean my father was automatically an Irish citizen, or was he required to claim it via a foreign birth registration?
