moving - import duties?

I'm moving to Ireland (from England).

Does anyone know if I have to pay import duties on my personal belongings when the moving van brings them across the sea?

I mean, I'm not buying these items - I already own them.. so I wouldn't expect to be charged 'import duties' on my stuff just because I'm moving it..

but maybe it doesn't work like that..? I don't know!

Does anyone have any experience to share?
