Filing Ireland Tax Return

We are on Stamp 0 obtaining our residency permit in 2020. So much conflicting information we get regarding having to file a tax return in Ireland when we do file our annual US tax return. Due to conflicting information and letter of permission indicating we are "temporary" residents, our social security and pension is US and deposited into US banks, having no income earned in Ireland, we have not filed a tax return in Ireland yet. Have tried to find an accountant in our county that is clear enough on if we need file. Have read all the information posted here the last many years. Some feedback, please, from others on the Stamp 0 that have been here a number of years now and if have run into any problems with Ireland Revenue? Have you, or have you not, filed an Ireland tax return yet, and why? We, of course, do not want to have any problems with Revenue, so hoping feedback will help us decide how to proceed. Even though no Ireland income and not being allowed to avail of any type of benefits, government schemes, grants, etc. still need to go through the tax return in Ireland process? Realize there is tax treaty and will not be double taxed on what we already pay to the US. Scary thinking that we will still somehow be taxed something else though on Ireland tax return?
