Help! Is it possible to get a work visa when you're not jewish AND don't have an Israeli spouse???

Hi Guys,

I've been here three months now and have fallen in love with Tel Aviv and desperately want to move here but it seems next to impossible to get a work visa here. I'm a 31 year old British guy, I have experience in the hi-tech and digital marketing and although I think I'm very good at what I do I can't see a company jumping through hoops with the ministry to bring me in as a 'specialist'.

I have friends here and have everyone on the lookout for people who have managed to move here but so far I haven't come across a single story that hasn't involved being jewish or having an israeli partner. The only expats I have met who do fit the bill moved here with companies from other countries.

If you know anybody who has made it through some other means then please let me know, I need the inspiration!!!

I had an interview with a language school today who said they would be willing to hire me if I could get a visa, I feel being a native english speaker is my biggest asset right now!

Sam : )
