Looking for a job in Milan

I want to move to Milan very much. I have many friends there and I have spent couple of months there to llok for a job without much success. When I was offered a job, there were no work permits available. When there were work permits available, I could not find a job. I have an MBA and I have always worked in fashion-retail industry. I speak Italian, German and Hungarian. I was born in Hungary but grew up in the States. Could you give me some advise about finding a job in Milan? Thanks?
