Accomodation needed in Rome or surrounding Area

Hi,

My boyfriend, a 31-year-old theology student is looking for a room to rent long-term in or close to Rome. He can only pay about 400 if utilities are inlcuded and 350 if they are not. Does anyone know of anything. He has a temporary accomodation now, but needs to change as soon as possible. He has a little dog, and would like to take her with him if he can. He doesn't smoke and really has a difficult time dealing with smoke in the house. He is quiet and reasonably clean and just wants a nice, safe, calm place to study. He is open to living with other students or workers and he can speak only a little Italian, but he is learning. He is also open to living with a family.
