Moving to Italy as a Self-Employed Person

Hi,

I am 30 years old and self-employed. I am interested in moving to Italy. I am curious to hear from those of you who moved to Italy without gaining employment did it? Is it possible to invest as business and relocate to Italy? Or simply buy a house and have a large sum of money and relocate? I'll have a fairly large bank account and don't need to work for anyone to maintain myself. So for those who don't have to work, how did you do it and can you offer me any tips please? Thank you!
