Professional Photo Work in Italy?

I presently work as a photojournalist and more recently photographing weddings.
Almost all of my work is outside of the U.S. so I'm wondering why I am still based in the US. Italy is the #1 place on my list of places to relocate to.

Can anyone tell me about the wedding industry in Italy. I do a lot of destination wedding photography and I'm thinking I would love to be based in Italy to do my work. Love advice.
