Having a Baby in Genova

Hello, My wife and I have just moved to Genova and are expecting a baby in 5 weeks. We will not be in Italy long enough to be covered by Italian Health Coverage, so will be paying out of pocket, and are therefore looking for public (less expensive) practitioners. What hospitals should we be looking at? Are there any inexpensive midwives etc? Is there anything else that would be helpful to know about having a baby in Genova? Our Italian is getting better, but is still pretty basic, so an English speaking doctor would be nice, but not absolutely necessary.

Thank you very much,
Richard
