Open a Business in Italy

Hello all
I am new to this forum. i am currently trying to open a Bed and Breakfast in Rome with a business partner. Has anyone opened a business in Italy? Is it possible to get a small business loan from an Italian bank as an American citizen. Or does anyone know if it is possible to use a small business loan from America to open a business in Italy? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
