I want to move to Como, Italy. Any advice for me?

Hi all,

I'm new for this website, but i found it is helpful and interesting, so i hope it can help me in some way.

I'm Vietnamese citizen, with Vietnamese passport. I have an Italian boyfriend, and he lives in Como, near Milan. I know him from skype but through a friend of me, everything is so difficult for us, but we try our best for stay together. We are 5000 miles away, but he planed all for coming to me on June, and that made me so happy, and so appreciated for what he did for us. I didn't know that for coming here to me, he had to quit his job so he could stay in Vietnam for 1 month, and i even didn't know he spent a lot of money for this trip. Our 1 month was so fantastic, and he said he wished i could come to italy for knowing how is Italy, and maybe we can have a life there. I even never thought about living in an European country, cause it's just out of my hands, but i saw the way he planed everything for us, i know i have to try by myself for making this difficult thing come true. I now have a very good job here, i earn more money than before, so i starting to save money. He is saving money too, but i know now he doesn't have a lot of money cause he has no job now. Sometimes i thought i wanted to give up because it is so difficult, but he always consoles me and says me that we don't do anything bad, we just want to stay together, so everything will be fine. Then i told myself that i should not give up. We do every little things, step to step for being able to come there. I'm applying for visa, even i'm looking for a job in italy, but all companies ask me to have visa, and i don't really know if i can have the visa or not. Maybe i can have a visa, but i don't know if my boss allows me to have 1 month leave or not. I don't want to loose my job, cause if i loose it i will not have money to make our dream come true, but i can't stay 5000 miles away from him for so long time, 5 months, 7 months. But i don't know how i can find a job in Italy, even he is struggling for finding a job.

Any one is in same case like me, or any one can give me any advice for what i can do. Please help me.
