Family-friendly neighborhoods in Rome

Hi all. My family is relocating to Rome in the spring. We do not know much about Rome, but we have lived outside of the U.S. before. We have small children and 2 pets. Does anyone have any advice on neighborhoods that are family-friendly in Rome and its suburbs? Ideally we would like a 3 bedroom, 2 bath with some kind of outdoor space. I read in postings (can't remember if it was on here or not) to check out the areas of: Africano, Parioli, Trieste/Nomentana, and Monteverde-Gianicolense. Any information about daycare, preschools, nannies, etc. is also very much appreciated. Thank you.
