Moving to Italy

Hello, I am currently looking to move to Italy for a minimum of a year with the hope of the move being permanent. Any advice, contacts or anyone who knows of any jobs that are available I would be grateful for the information. I am 32 years of age, male and I would give almost any job a try although manual work i am probably more suited too. I am currently working as a Cooper (barrel maker) in Scotland which is where i am from. I am in the early stages of learning to speak Italian and have a passion for the Italian lifestyle so once again any helpful advice would be very much appreciated.
