Prescription medication Italy

As a Danish pensioner, I have been receiving free medication since I became resident in Italy.
While on holiday in Denmark I became very ill. The psychiatrist here will prescribe medicine - very new and expensive. The health service here will not cover half the cost as is normal if resident here. Can the Danish prescription be refunded in Italy because of EU reciprical agreements - or even used directly - danish docotr prescribes - Itlaian chemist provides??
