mortgage advice to re-locate

Hi all,

New to the forum so be gentle.

I've had a search but couldn't find a topic on this so here goes.

My wife and I are looking to move out to Italy, maybe early next year and are now thinking about financing the move, do you have any advice on acquiring a mortgage when we will both be re-locating to another country and leaving our jobs behind?
