Demand for expat counselor in Florence

Hi,
I am a LICSW with many years of clinican work. I will be moving to Florence at the end of the summer and I am thinking about opening a private practice geared for students abroad and other members of the expat community who need support.
I'm trying to understand if there is a demand for english speaking therapists and if I have to register with italian authorities?
Any thoughts would be SO appreciated.
