Car thoughts

Sorry to have posted this elsewhere to irrevelant thread...
I seem to have narrowed by car purchase in Italy to two Fiat models. I really like the 4-door 500L. But the house I'm buying in Puglia has a steep driveway and I'm wondering if the 1.3 Panda 4x4 would make more sense. If anyone here is driving one of these cars, can you offer up any plusses or minuses about these models? I'm also thinking diesel.
