Traveling soon????

Don’t rely on the airline to know what the restrictions are for travel. Find some way to check with the Customs Office if the point of entry for your trip.
I was scheduled to start Italian classes on Monday. Thursday morning I boarded my United Airlines flight with all my documentation.: Passport, school registration, apartment lease, car rental and negative COVID test. I was passed through 3 airport checks and was approaching Zürich customs to get to my flight to Brindisi.
Well, they turned me around and sent me home. Be aware, while Italy might welcome you with all your approved docs, your transfer country might not.
Hopefully the houses I planned to check out for purchase will still be available when I can get there. The school and apartment will hold my deposit for future attendance. Hopefully United will credit me for my ticket for future use.
And this too shall pass....
