Polignano a Mare

Hi. My husband and I are going to be exploring the Polignano a Mare region with an eye to moving there for 6 months out of the year for the length of our retirement. We've explored the Abruzzo area and loved it but want a warmer climate. We will first rent before purchasing something.
Any thoughts on this town? It doesn't seem to be mentioned much in this Puglia area forum, but it looks amazing
