Licensing requirements

Hello,

I’m Anna. I will be retiring at the end of 2021 and will be relocating permanently to Tuscany in 1Q22 to be near family and friends. I have dual citizenship (US/Italy). I do not need or wish to work, so there’s no problem in that regard. I’ve done extensive forecasting and am satisfied that I can live a comfortable life in retirement in Italy. I know, in bocca a lupo...

My question is regarding my best friend, who is a psychotherapist. And who wants to join me in Italy. He will need to continue working for the foreseeable future. Does anyone know what licensing requirements are for therapists or to whom he needs to speak to get the process in motion?

Thank you in advance for assistance.
