Moving to Italy becoming more problematic!

As if all the hurdles the Italian government places in one's way when trying to relocate, it seems a new one comes up regularly. It can be mind number to deal with the bureaucracy and not to mention the filth, along roadways and beaches, which every Italian should hang their head in shame is always disheartening! So along comes another obstacle that makes the case for Not moving here - the high cost and getting costlier for electricity. Is there a point when it all does not make sense?

Electricity prices in Italy are set to surge by up to 40 percent over the next quarter after increasing 20% last quarter.
