My Elective Residency visa arrived today! I can't thank everyone here enough for your help and guidance and the many blogs linked here. I am so relived. I easily took 2-3 months just designing the application so that it was easy to read and navigate. Above all everyone made it clear that (like most things in life) having empathy for your audience: so that the clerks who are forced to work on your application can easily make an evaluation of your application. That applications was a 4 pound three-ring binder....I could go on but I all I really want to say is a collective hug to your all and happy holidays. If you find yourselves in Bologna this Spring or later, sent me a note!--Jonathan
