Dealing with mail

During the last 3 years my husband and I (retired) have been away from our US base for 3 months at a time and have tried different methods of dealing with our mountains of mostly unsolicited junk mail. Has anyone ever tried the two mail forwarding services advertised here: AnyTime Mailbox and Traveling Mailbox? We have used the USPS mail forwarding service to a P.O. Box we rented in our local Post Office and that was a disaster. We have also used a UPS service to forward our mail to a box in their outlet close to our home. That mostly worked except that the USPS kept putting stuff in our mailbox so that when we got home our kind neighbor had picked up the stuff that no longer fit in our box! We are too embarrassed to continue asking our neighbors to check our mailbox once a week because we are gone so often. Any ideas out there? Sorry this is so long. Thanks for your help!
