Moving in to a walled city

My husband and I are staying in Italy for a year and took a 6 mos lease for a flat in the historic center of Lucca for the first half of the excursion. I am coming up empty on how we will get to our place toting 3 large suitcases each given car access to the city is by permit only.

Is their transportation from the airport that would have a permit to drive in the city? How does one find a driver with city access?
