We have been searching for the best place to retire in Italy. After looking at many regions of the country, we probably would like to be in Tuscany or Umbria, but we still have to visit Marche, so that could be a possibility. We are looking for a city that has low crime, offers cultural events, has good healthcare system and is well located with a good airport and train line. We don't want to be in a very touristic area, so if we chose a city like Florence, it would be in the outside neighborhoods. Welcome opinions and experiences.
