Help with a move to Puglia

My wife and I are looking to move to Puglia, preferably Lecce in September 2025. We are under no illusions that we are entering paradise, but feel that it would be a good place for us to pursue our interests which are cultural and not necessarily beach based as we currently live in Australia. Our main issue at present is seeking out suitable accommodation at a reasonable price on a long-term let, say 3 to 6 months initially as we make our final decision and choose a final place to live.

We have some contacts locally, but are trying to find locals who really understand what’s what to assist us in our move.
