I am currently living in the UK, I wish to move to Jamaica in the next year and a half. I'm working and earning a good wage. I visited Jamaica for 4 weeks - stayed in Port Antonio with my brother in laws family. The quality of life is everything i could ask for as i'm not high maintenance and the simplest of things make me happy. As a 26 year old female i am not familiar with what is required (documents) when moving overseas. I do not know where to begin and any advice would be much appreciated. Would buying land and having my own home built be cost effective? I have spoken to my brother inlaws family in jamaica and they have suggested business ideas that would benefit me more than a regular job would. I just need a little advice from anybody who has moved to jamaica from the UK and how you get by? Thanks in advance :)
