Hello all I have a few questions,
I will be moving to Amman for 1 year and living in the Abdoun area. What is there to do and see in this area? Are there any parks or anything along those lines?
What is there to do in Amman? Nightlife? Festivals? Live music? I will only be working 5 days a week, I'm 31 and coming over by myself so i don't want to get bored in my downtime or just sit around in my apartment all night.
My apartment, utilities, internet, phone, tv are all paid for. I will also be provided a vehicle for my work and personal use. Will i be able to live comfortably on about 1,500 JOD a month? I don't do the whole eating at expensive or posh restaurants thing, I can cook.
I will be bringing my dog over with me, what is there for me to do with my dog over there? Hiking? Parks? anything along those lines?
How easy is it to travel to surrounding countries? Is it expensive? Are there border crossing fee's to israel or syria?
Is it easy to meet people and make friends?
