How to move around in Uralsk

Hello everyone. I'm moving to Uralsk in Aug. to work as a Bio teacher, but I have a couple of questions. First, is there any urban bus company? I tried to use google maps transit info but nothing shows up. And about the weather.. is it too harsh? every single piece of advice will be really useful and appreciated. thanks kids
