I am writing to you all hoping one of you (or more ) may be able to help me. My sister and I are arriving in Nairobi on January 17th to Volunteer at Nairobi Children's Home for 2 months. I was in Nairobi for 3 months from Sept to Dec volunteering with an organization but I decided to leave them due to corruption and such. I am thus in need of a place to live. My sister and I are both Canadians who grew up in Bangkok, we have both graduated from The University of British Columbia and are both very responsible. Considering we are volunteers we are however, on a budget. If anyone has an unoccupied furnished SQ or knows of one please let us know. Also any relatively inexpensive apartments or bungalows (furnished) would be amazing. I would so appreciate the help, I have had the most amazing times with those wonderful children and am not ready to leave them. Please let me know if you know of any places that meet the criteria, our budget is 30,000-40,000 a month.
