Ms. Josephine Asami
I had the pleasure to hire Ms. Josephine Asami to take care of my daughter (who is now 5 and a half years old) in December 2009. Josephine lived with us in Nairobi until we moved back to the US in May 2010. We returned to Nairobi in April 2011 and for the past 10 months Josephine has worked for us again. As a single parent, Josephine was for me a de facto second caretaker of my daughter. I trusted her completely to take good care of my child when I had to travel for work, at times for one or two weeks at the time. Being a mother herself, Josephine knows how to be both loving and firm when necessary with my child. Josephine is very good at doing laundry, ironing and undertaking different household chores. I recommend Josephine to be hired as part of a team. She works well with other people, is conscientious and has moral integrity. She has lived with me both times in Nairobi (off on weekends) but has her own house and also enjoys going home in the evenings. Josephine can be reached on her mobile at: 0714 58 27 93.
Mr. Steven Sifuna
I hired Steven in July 2009 as a gardener in my former house in Lavington. When I returned to Kenya in 2010, he again joined us in taking care of the garden and run regular household errands. Steven is hard working, honest, and a pleasure to have around. He is a reassuring presence in the compound and is very good in taking good care of dogs (pets). I have trusted Steven weeks on end to take care of our family dog when I was on mission or on leave. Steven is a problem solver and can be relied upon to address unexpected problems such as power and water shortages, roof leaks, gas leaks, etc… Steven works well with other people, is very honest and always has a smile on his face. He can be reached on his mobile at: 0723 76 15 83.
Feel free to contact me via email if you need further references or specific information about Josephine’s or Steven’s professional backgrounds: [email protected] or [email protected].
