Any Things I Should Know Before Movie?

I will be moving to Seoul next September (2014) to be an ESL teacher (with a minimum of 3yrs living there), I was wondering what I should do and/or know to prepare this move.

I want to make the transition as easy as possible & I've never been out of Canada, or away from my family, so that alone will be a big shock. Has anyone else done this? Any advice or things I should know and prepare for??
