Does she just want a green card?

Hi,

I spent a few months studying in Japan and recently returned to the US. While there, I began dating a Korean woman fairly early on. Things developed over time and we have kept up with each other daily since my return.

Anyways, we spent a large amount of time together for three solid months. She was super fun and very casual which I appreciated. I have planned to move to East Asia for a while now, but I had thought about going back to work in Japan as an English teacher through the JET program to reconnect with my old friends there. She off-handedly says I should come to Korea instead since I was already going back to Asia in a very light-hearted manner. I say "what the hell, I love travel and we had a great thing going, why not give it a shot?". Sooooo, she is now very excited that I will visit her in March for a week and may decide to go to Korea to take a job there next summer (I have requisite certifications and a stellar resume).

I come across a story about a man who was duped into marrying a Chinese woman for a green card and think "Christ alive what if this is happening to me?" Now important to note: she has not pressed for marriage (though she has joked about having half-blood babies, but she has a very developed sense of humor). She also is the most patriotic non-American I've ever met, and says that South Korea is the greatest country in the world and I should go there with her. She has given no indication of wanting to come to the United States, and I have made it clear that I have no intention of returning to the US. She is not at all phased by this, and even says her father will cook for me if I come to Korea. Am I over-analyzing things or should I legit be worried?
