Hello, I'm from the US and I've been approached with a possible job oppertunity in Kuwait. It's a live-in job that would include moving my family (wife and two kids, 16 months and 9 years). My wife is really concerned with the security and stability there. Also we are looking to visit with some fellow Americans and/or Canadians with kids to talk about schools, living conditions, etc. Although I've asked for Americans and Canadians for my wifes comfort I'd also love to get some other opinions as I like to look at things from other angles. We are also looking to move some Exotic Birds and Dogs, does anyone know if there's strict rules on importing these types of pets into Kuwait? The office I'll be working is in Ahmadi and I've talked with some potential associates and most of them live between Ahmadi and Kuwait City. I'd like a place on the beach for my wife's comfort. Is there problems laying out on the beach in the normal American swimming wear? Any suggestions on how to findout realestate information? And locations that would be convenient and safe?
