Possible Move- Nervous and scared!!

My fiance has just been laid off from his job in NYC. The best new job offer he has recieved so far has been in Kuwait. I'm so nervous and scared to even consider it. I have no idea what to expect. I am a third grade teacher here in the States and my fiance has informed that English teachers are needed. Is this true? Can anyone give me an idea of what living in Kuwait is like? I will know no one and have no idea where to start a life of my own in Kuwait City. Any advice or experience you can share with me will be appreciated!
