Legal Advice

I am resigning from the company I have been working for during the past year as my employment pass is expiring. Now the company is acting like I am the enemy and closing me out, even though I have 2 months to go. They have also threatened legal action even though I MUST resign as they have not offered me an extension of my employment pass. My friend has told me to watch out, as some companies can get a bit weird....can anyone offer any advice or contacts that can help me with this problem?
