I've been considering of relocation as retirees to Malaysia (specifically to Penang) with my husband(only us) and plan to do some survey trip sometime this year for a few weeks. We aren't big money spenders but understand we all need some degree of creature comfort in our daily life,such as security and decent diet etc. I'd appreciate any suggestions and advises you might want to share with me based on yours or others experiences. I'm hoping to establish some reliable contacts while we are there. Also I'd like to know how much does it cost to rent a full furnished 1 bedroom apartment near markets and easy access to public transportation and what's included in the cost. We visited Penang last year and rode bus on our own,so I know how crowded it could get at times. However,I wasn't paying much attention on neighbouring communities.
Anyway,I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone who wants to share his/her/their stories.
