missing canadian in mexico

My name is Andrea and I live in Toronto.
My cousin KAREN MARCHAND is a Canadian who has been living in Mexico for approx. 6 years. On Jan 11/04 she disappeard from her home in Mexico City where she lived with her husband,a Mexican man, Francisco "Quico" Marmolejo Rivas. Karen is 40 years old, she has dark brown hair and blue eyes, she is 5 feet 4 inches tall and is
approximately 120 pounds. She is a Canadian Citizen originally from Windsor Ontario Canada and is nearly fluent in Spanish.
The RCMP, The Canadian Embassy, Mexican Authorities, and Interpol have all been involved in Karen's search. Her father has also enlisted the help of a private investigator whose search
for solid leads has been fruitless. Several theories have been proposed about her disappearance and
possible whereabouts: Did she leave her husband and Mexico City voluntarily with the intention of
disappearing? Was she in some kind of accident? Was she abducted? Is she still alive? We fear the
worst has happened but with so little information and no evidence of a crime we have to believe that she
is still alive.
Please visit www.mispers.com/marchand.html and view her picture. I'm asking anyone and everyone to please please keep an eye out for her. Forward her picture to anyone you can think of. The details of who to contact in the event she's spotted is also on that site or simply call the mexican police.
Muchísimas
gracias por ayudarme y mi familia.
I cannot thank you enough.
~andre
