Hello everybody! I am a USA citizen who lives now in Merida and also has a school age son in elementary school and a husband waiting to retire in March of 2022 and still in the USA. I bought two houses in Merida one in the downtown district and the other in Pedregales de Tanlum on the border with Pensiones neighborhood. I work for an international company and applied and was granted a work permit. I am on a three year temp visa and can answer a lot of questions about mistakes made or not and the entire experience. I am 56 years old and my son is 10 years old and yes he is my biological child. I have an older son who is adopted and is 24 year old and still lives in the USA. I have dealt with a lot of problems of all sorts. I avoided using any American style Real estate people. I found them very very expensive.
