Do I qualify for Socialized Medicine if I am only working part-time? How much does private medical insurance cost?
Do I have to file taxes both in Mexico and the US if I am working there part-time and receiving retirement income in the US? Does this affect my retirement income in the US.? Do I have to get a work permit?
How much can I expect to pay in rent for a 1 bedroom apartment, condo, or small house? Are they usually furnished?
Can I use my bank account in the US (Chase)? Are there any affiliated banks in Mexico? Should I have 2 banks (US and Mexico)? Do I have to pay exchange rates for using my US credit card and direct deposits into my Chase Account?
If I am selling services on the internet which country do I have to pay taxes to? Are there state taxes in Jalisco?
Do I need a permit to take my car across the border and register it (ITP)? If so how do I obtain it? Do I have to pay duties on my personal belongings and my car (1993 Jeep)?
What do I need to do to get a drivers license in Mexico (written and driving test)? How long do I have until I have to register my car and obtain a license?
