Mazatlan vs Cancun

Curious about medical & dental in both areas, please. In Australia, we used to enjoy the public Medicare health system but weary of the increasing long queues for simple procedures, such as a skin cancer checks (already 9 months waiting) or cataract removal, which we have had to pay privately. We’ve been flying to Chiang Mai for many years to have major dental work done, lik eimplants at 1/2 the cost but feel at our age flying over 10 hours to see qualified professionals is getting old! It’s been awhile since we’ve been to Mazatlan and last in Tulum/Cancun was about 5 years ago. So a reality check would be most welcome! Thank you!
