Hello all: We are moving to Mexico in September and will start the residency process. Our plan is to move to Mérida and live there for some months but as we are flying to Cancun, we thought that maybe we should settle there for the time it takes to get our residency.
Anyone knows if the Immigration Services are better in Mérida or Cancun or just about the same?
Also, we plan on hiring a facilitator to assist with the process, any good company/name to recommend?
Finally, at the beginning of the year, our Consulate said the process in Mexico takes about 1 month. Considering that everything has slowed down considerably over the last 6 months, what are the delays that should normally be expected once in Mexico?
