Hello all. No doubt some of these topics have been covered countless times by now (and then some), but things change quite a bit down there and I'd just like to get the most up to date info possible.
1) Any immigration lawyers that someone/anyone could recommend? I'm a US citizen with Mexican parents. Ideally I'd like to get my dual citizenship. But (and this is common, in sure); there are discrepancies between my birth certificate and my parents'....and the amendment process here in California to correct all of it could take YEARS! It's unreal. It's more complicated now because my father isn't in the picture. I just want to speak with a professional down there who's got tons of experience with these kinds of cases. Financially I'm sure I could qualify for temp/permanent residency....but it just seems ridiculous that I would be going there as a "foreigner" while I have the full right to be there as a citizen.
2) looking for expat communities in Cancun.
3) also looking for any dairy/beef farms in/ near Cancun where I can source my dietary needs such as high quality dairy and beef
4) long term apartments for rent? Any reliable website(s) anyone could recommend?
