usa tax on mexican land sale

i`m selling some land down here in southern mexico. what are the tax liabilities in the states? the land is communal ;land and really not subject to any kind of local tax, as understand it.i will probably be taking payments over a few years and some of the money will stay here in a mexican bank. i know depositing over 10,000 in the states might raise a red flag. anyone have any kind of experience with something like this? thank you
