Cesión de Derechos v Escrturas

¿Anyone have knowledge or experience dealing with Cesión de Derechos versus escrituras, (deed), for real estate purchases? One realtor tells me foreigners prefer Cesión de Derechos because it’s cheaper and faster. So just that statement alone makes me leery.. I prefer escrituras as they’re more what we’re used to in the EEUU. But I’m ruling out a lot of good properties because they’re Cesión de Derechos, not escrituras. ¿Thoughts / experiences?
