Thinking about the logistics of moving the whole family

Is it better to drive your car down or buy a car in Mexico?

Is having a car even necessary or is it easy to rent for family road trips etc?

Do private/international schools tend to allow students to enter mid-year?

Do you find that your children are able to make many friends easily either in the expat or local community?

Do your children have a rich social life with play dates and birthday parties etc?

Can expats realistically expect to find employment in Mexico? Are expats allowed to work in Mexico?

Are family dogs generally welcomed in apartments, condo communities, parks and public spaces? Are off-leash dog parks common?

For non-employed expats, do you find you are able to fill your time with activities, clubs, and social engagements before becoming fully fluent in Spanish?
