Travel with my Airstream Trailer

Greetings to all
I am fearful of the discord that will follow the elections this year, and I'd just as soon hit the trail and do what anybody that is a full-time RV owner, and head to Mexico. I can afford to establish residency (any suggestions as to which Consulate in CA, NM or AZ on could best apply-and must that be done in advance of border crossing ??) and would like to travel as far south as the road can take me, I have boondocks capacity, what with generator and (before I depart, Star-Link installation) feel confident in traveling solo. Ultimate Destination: Belize. Advice, time savers, and routes to take or avoid, would be sincerely appreciated. I may be late in this endeavor, but the current star of affairs makes 'better late than never', if you get my drift.
